Because Microsoft graphics library (GDI+)
doesn't even support JPEG compression in TIFF yet most products can't
even view these type of TIFF files, here's how to batch print them with
Batch & Print Pro and the TIFF Addon.
A Step by step guide:-
1. Download & Install Batch &
Print Pro:
//www.traction-software.co.uk/downloads/BatchPrintProInstall.exe
2. Download & Install Batch &
Print Pro TIFF Addon:
//www.traction-software.co.uk/downloads/bpptiffaddon.zip
3. Run Batch & Print Pro
Add a tiff file to the main print list (use drag and drop) and right
mouse on it in the list and select 'Addon Setup...'
4. TIFF Addon Setup
Set the "Use Alternate Graphics Library" checkbox.
Then any other settings required and click "Save & Exit"
5. Print
Click "Print' in the main Batch & Print Pro window to print
the file and check it's come out right.
6. To now use the current
settings for all future TIFF files.
Right mouse on the file in
the list and select "Copy addon parameters to Clipboard"
For the "Do you want to open the default parameters dialog" click YES.
In the TIFF Addon box right mouse and select 'Paste' then click
Save/Close.
Now when you add new files to the list and click print it will use the
same TIFF Addon settings without having to setup again.
