• Unable to save settings issue or unable to write pdf's to network drives or select a networked drive (Disabled) or doesn't allow access to printers in Acrobat DC 2022 onwards

Adobe introduced a new security setting in Adobe Edit Menu-->Preferences settings, Security (enhanced)…  is yours like below?   should be by default.

i.e. "Enable protected mode at startup (Preview) " should be Unchecked (you may need to run as admin to change this if it's grayed out), "Protected View" should be set to Off.

• How do I use an Acrobat Plug-in, all I see is the registration program.

The registration program is for purchasing the software not the actual program,
here's what to-do:-

Run Acrobat then you will see the application in the Acrobat Plug-Ins menu like below:

If you can't see the Plug-Ins menu then check you are running full Acrobat, not Adobe Reader.

If you are running full acrobat please check edit menu-->preferences, startup, 'use only certified plug-ins' is unchecked like below.

A copy of the plugin file is kept in the installation folder, if you still have problems then manually copy the .api file e.g. C:\Program Files (x86)\Traction Software\PDF Content Split\PDFContentSplit.api  to  C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat 9.0\Acrobat\plug_ins  folder.
