Traction CD Menu Auto Migrate Feature

This new cool feature will create your CD menu's with just a few mouse clicks,
Suppose you have lot's of files with the same file type to add to CD Menu ?, well if you have then Auto Migrate can search for part of the filename and add them all at once.
say if you had lot's of word .doc files to add, then by typing .doc in the "File types/names to scan for" edit box, would search for all .doc's in the current directory and subfolders recursively and add them to your menu in one swoop.

By changing the style you can easily get the results you want, for instance if you wanted every subfolder under a tab then by selecting the "Use 1st Level subfolders as Tab names" would put say c:\Security\Security1.doc, c:\Issues\Issues1.doc under Security (tab 1) & Issues (tab 2), obviously this feature comes into it's own when you add lot's of files at once, say 100 doc files with just a few mouse clicks!
Multiple types/files names can be scanned for by separating the list with a semi-colon ;

e.g. .mp3;.wav
wildcards are not permitted, but you can do things like setup.exe;install.exe anyway, or just .exe

Step 1 - copy cdmenu.exe into the root directory of your CD folder to write, see example screen shot below.
This is usually located in C:\Program files\Traction Software\



I have the following documents in those directories for this example, you will probably have more but it doesn't matter the principle is the same no matter how many you have.
Step 2 - enter .doc in "File types/names to scan for" edit box. 

 
Step 3 - Select "Use 1st Level Sub Folder(s) as Tab names" in styles section, which is the default selection as above.
Step 4 - Press "Scan for files & Preview"

Step 5 - Click "Apply" when happy with the results.
Step 6 - Your menu should appear like below.

    

 
that's all there is to it!, Auto Migrate can be run from a new CD Menu creation and from the Action menu in CD Menu itself at any time.
Note Auto Migrate is for creating menu's from scratch not any time you want.
